ILIP BIO
Material innovation is an integral part of ILIP’s approach to developing its packaging solutions. For specific applications, our product range includes items made from PLA and Mater-Bi®, materials certified as compostable in accordance with the European standard EN 13432.
Since 2002, we have used these materials to manufacture single-use tableware and packaging for food service, gastronomy, and fresh fruit and vegetable packaging, continuously expanding the range of available solutions.
Products certified in accordance with EN 13432 are designed to be collected with organic waste and sent to industrial composting facilities, where such collection systems and facilities are available and in accordance with local regulations. This process results in the production of compost.
FIBRAWARE
We introduced Fibraware®, a complete range of tableware and containers made of natural fibres such as pulp, paperboard and wood from certified forests. The range includes biodegradable, compostable and recyclable plates, cups, cutlery and trays. In addition, customisable paper products are available to enhance the brand.
