ILIP debuts at Meat Tech 2021

First time for ILIP at an Italian fair of importance for the meat sector, the company will exhibit its innovative solutions with a dedicated stand

RIMINI (20th October 2021) – ILIP participates this year for the first time in MeatTech, the trade fair specializing in innovative technology and solutions for the cold cuts, meat and ready meals production chain, held from 22nd to 26th October at Fiera Milan to Rho (MI). The stand, located in hall 15 stand MT-A19, sees the exhibition and presentation of the ILIP range of trays for meat packaging, consisting of two product lines: the SealMaster line and the StretchMaster line, available in 5 profiles, each declinable in different heights. The main feature of this new range is that it has been designed following the logic of Eco-Design, so as to have the best product performance with the minimum use of material and with a view to the Circular Economy, for an end of life that has the objective of the recovery of the secondary raw material and therefore of the recycling of the trays.

SealMaster is ILIP’s line of heat-sealable trays for meat, designed to be used in heat-sealing molds already existing on the market in order to guarantee perfect processability on the packaging lines, as well as suitable for modified atmosphere packaging (M.A.P.). SealMaster is available in three material formulations: EVO with recycled PET content up to 90%, BIO made of compostable bioplastic certified EN13432 and DUO with a classic multilayer structure in PET/PE for excellent heat sealing integrity.

StretchMaster, on the other hand, is ILIP’s range of meat trays designed specifically for packaging systems with automatic lines that use stretch film or flow-pack: this objective has led to the realization of specific shapes of the corners and the junction of the bottom with the walls of the tray. In addition, the upper edge with reduced friction and anti-cut ERGO+ (Extended Rounded rim + reduced Grip On) helps to withstand the stresses of the automatic packaging lines and to ensure process reliability.

The StretchMaster line is available in the EVO and BIO structural formulations, which are characterized by the same characteristics of the two homonymous formulations present in the SealMaster line.

ILIP’s range of meat packaging solutions, Seal- and StretchMaster, is also characterized by the availability of two different solutions to absorb meat exudates: with Microcell bottom or with absorbent pad. In particular, the innovative Microcell-bottom available within the Evo and Duo formulations: thanks to the surface tension, it captures and traps the exudates in the cells without the need for the classic absorbent pad.

From 22 to 26 October, it will therefore be possible to discover all the solutions and innovations on which ILIP works for meat packaging in Hall 15 – Stand MT-A19 of Fiera Milano Rho.
