ILIP AT MACFRUT 2026 WITH SOLUTIONS FOR THE ENTIRE FRUIT AND VEGETABLE SUPPLY CHAIN, FROM PACKAGING FOR DELICATE FRUIT TO PROFESSIONAL NURSERY PRODUCTION
From AirWave T2T R-PET® punnets for berries to HortiPack solutions and bespoke product development: ILIP presents an integrated offering for the entire supply chain
Valsamoggia (BO) 9th April 2026 – From 21th to 23rd April 2026, ILIP will be exhibiting at Macfrut 2026, at the Rimini Expo Centre, in Hall B3 – Stand 073, with a revamped exhibition space designed to further facilitate interaction with customers, industry professionals and partners across the supply chain.
For ILIP, participating in Macfrut represents a strategic opportunity to present a comprehensive and integrated range, capable of meeting the needs of various segments of the fruit and vegetable sector. The event brings together all players in the supply chain, from production to packaging and nursery operations, and it is precisely with this in mind that the company will showcase a selection of solutions at the fair that demonstrate the variety and complementary nature of its offering.
At the heart of the exhibition will be the AirWave range, heat-sealable R-PET punnets designed for packaging delicate fruits such as berries and cherries. This solution has been developed to improve product protection during transport and at the handling and sales stages, thanks to a special domed base that absorbs shocks and eliminates the need for cellulose or bubble pads. In this way, the packaging not only helps to better protect its content and enhances the on-shelf- presentation, but also extends shelf life of the packed fruit and reduces food waste. The AirWave range, in B40, B46 and B47 formats, is made from T2T R-PET®, a food-contact-approved recycled material that is 100% recyclable, in line with the circular economy model that ILIP is developing within the ILPA Group.
Alongside established solutions such as AirWave, ILIP will also be showcasing Sprint at the trade fair, the department dedicated to the development of bespoke new products. Sprint’s presence at the stand demonstrates ILIP’s ability to support customers not only with standard ranges but also with a dedicated design service. Sprint organises the development process for new special products from the planning stages through to production, identifying the most suitable technological platform for each project and creating a direct link between development activities and commercial strategy. In this way, ILIP strengthens its position as a partner capable of supporting customers throughout the entire packaging definition process, from the most established solutions to customised products.
Macfrut will also provide an opportunity to showcase HortiPack, the range of professional products for horticulture and floriculture. The decision to showcase this range is entirely in keeping with the nature of the trade fair, which is increasingly establishing itself as a meeting place for the entire fruit and vegetable sector, including the nursery and ornamental plant sectors. In this context, HortiPack enables ILIP to engage with a wide audience of industry professionals, showcasing a range that includes carriers & packs, potholders made from PS or recycled R-PET as well as pots in R-PET, with a recycled content of up to 90% and the possibility of end-of-life recycling.
Among the new products on display will be the new line of eco-hobby packs with 1, 4, 6 or 12 holes, designed to offer a practical and efficient solution for the hobby sector whilst helping to reduce environmental impact through lower peat consumption, and the new 10 cm pot made from R-PET. The latter, produced without the addition of colour masterbatches, is distinguished by its natural anthracite grey colour, which is determined directly by the recycled material – a feature that blocks light transmission and promotes better growing conditions for plants. Here too, sustainability and performance are integrated into a range designed to offer industry professionals functional, efficient solutions that are consistent with the principles of the circular economy.
With the new stand layout, which places greater emphasis on the reception area and interaction with visitors, ILIP aims to make its participation in Macfrut 2026 even more effective, turning its presence at the fair into a tangible opportunity to build relationships and engage in in-depth discussions with all operators in the supply chain. The event will take place from 21 to 23 April at the Rimini Expo Centre, Hall B3 – Stand 073.
