Concrete solutions vs. Green washing

Ilip’s Three Main Commitments

1. REDUCE packaging weight without compromising the safety and shelf life of the packaged products.
Thanks to its know-how, ILIP is at the forefront of downgauging, in terms of both extrusion and thermoforming. Furthermore, ILIP promotes more sustainable and innovative packaging systems, like heat sealing.

2. RECYCLING is the real challenge for our future, and r-PET (post-consumer PET) is currently the irrefutable proof that recycling has become economically and environmentally sustainable.
ILIP promotes the culture and the use of post-consumer plastic raw materials, and is part of I.L.P.A. SRL vertical integration of the r-PET supply chain in a CLOSED LOOP SYSTEM: from post consumer waste to food packaging.

3. RENEWABLE RESOURCES. Bioplastics, plastics from plant like PLA (Polylactid acid), are renewable and compostable and are a valid solution and alternative to polymers of fossil origin.
