ILIP DEBUTS AT SAUDI AGRICULTURE AND EXPOSE: SUSTAINABLE AND INNOVATIVE PACKAGING

The Bologna-based company expands its international presence by participating for the first time in two leading events for the fruit and vegetable sector: Saudi Agriculture (Riyadh, 20-23 October 2025) and expoSE (Karlsruhe, 19-20 November 2025).

Valsamoggia (BO) 13th October 2025 – ILIP, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of sustainable packaging for fresh fruit and vegetable, is strengthening its international presence by participating for the first time in two major events for the agri-food and horticulture sectors: Saudi Agriculture (Riyadh, 20-23 October 2025) and expoSE (Karlsruhe, 19-20 November 2025).

Saudi Agriculture 2025, to be held at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Centre (Stand 5-123), is a strategic showcase for presenting the complete Fresh Produce Packaging range – punnets, trays and fruit nest trays – and the professional HortiPack line, which includes propagation trays, trays with inserts, pots and potholders.

Thanks to its role as exclusive supplier to various local producers, importers and packagers, ILIP is positioned as a partner of excellence in a rapidly growing market. In line with Saudi Arabia’s ‘Vision 2030’ project, which aims to develop the agricultural sector through food security, sustainability and technological innovation, HortiPack stands out for its modern and efficient solutions for professional nurseries, made with recyclable and high-quality materials.

expoSE 2025, Europe’s leading trade fair for asparagus and berries (Karlsruhe, Germany, Hall 1, Stand G17), will see ILIP participate for the first time with its own stand. Here, the company will present its range of sustainable packaging dedicated to berries, with a particular focus on innovative solutions for strawberry packaging. The T2T R-PET® (tray to tray) process will also be in the spotlight, which allows new recycled trays to be produced not only from PET bottles, but also from post-consumer punnets and trays. In this way, ILIP creates a closed recycling loop, returning the material to its original application (from tray to tray), with significant advantages in terms of quality, traceability and reduced environmental impact.

“With Saudi Agriculture and expoSE, we are further expanding our international presence,” says Gianluca Tamagnini, Business Manager Fresh Produce Packaging and HortiPack. ‘These two debuts allow us to enhance our offering, which includes sustainable solutions for fresh fruit and vegetable on the one hand, and the HortiPack range designed for nurseries on the other. These are two distinct but equally strategic areas in which we present ourselves as a reliable, innovative and circularity-oriented partner.’
